Dr. Kennedy provides psychological services to clients of all ages. She has particular expertise working with children, teenagers and young adults who are struggling with depressed mood, anxiety, life transitions and identity issues. Dr. Kennedy works collaboratively with her clients to identify their strengths and challenges and to assist them with meeting their goals. Her clinical approach is integrative, drawing from attachment, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic theories.

Dr. Kennedy completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at McGill University and her PhD at the University of Waterloo. A registered psychologist since 1996, Dr. Kennedy has generally maintained a small private practice to complement her work in the Mental Health Department at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario where her clinical work and research is focused on assisting youth who present with a mental health crisis.
